Introduction

This continues to be an unsettling time for many of us, and we have all been thinking carefully about how we can move forward into this latest phase of the pandemic.

Like a lot of people, you may be wondering what operating childcare and education settings during a pandemic will look like. What can you expect? What does this mean for my child?

These are unprecedented times, and there aren't always concrete answers. But we hope that this handbook will offer an insight into how we will be proceeding in the coming months at Kindergarten.

With more than 45 pieces of information released by the government for education and childcare settings, we have faced a mammoth task in ensuring that we are prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our children, our staff and families. This handbook includes references to some of these documents.
