Outbreak Management Plan

If we have several confirmed cases within 14 days , we may have an outbreak. Kate, Helen or Hannah will call the dedicated advice service (Local Outbreak Response Team) who will escalate the issue to the local health protection team where necessary and advise if any additional action is required, such as implementing elements of our outbreak management plan.

Confirmed Cases

Childcare and education settings must notify Ofsted of any confirmed cases in the setting (either child or staff member). Settings should also tell Ofsted if they have to close the setting as a result. Cases must be reported as soon as possible, and in any case within 14 days.
